To all Community Organizations, Industry Professionals, and Artists:
Beloved Community Family Services, Inc. (BCFS) wishes to formally invite you to share your community program and/or class with our 2013 Fall session of the Saturday Enrichment Program (October 12 – December 14, 2013). BCFS will grant each selected class $750 for sharing your time and knowledge with our neighborhood children! Applications are due ONLINE Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 11:59pm.
The Saturday Enrichment Program is inclusive of hands-on classes for up to 50 children who fall within two groups; 1st - 4th grade and 5th – 8th grade. The program operates from 8:30am to 2:30pm on Saturdays, in 10-week sessions (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter). Currently, students participate in at least three classes per session, all that fall under any of the program four core components. Classes in the Saturday Enrichment Program include focused activities, field trips, professional guest speakers, and special events. The program also offers a balanced and nutritional breakfast and lunch for all youth participants.
We are soliciting individuals/organizations to submit class applications which cover any of our core component: STEM, Arts & Culture, Fitness & Nutrition, and /or Leadership. Applicant classes need to be highly interactive and include “hands-on” learning experiences that will engage the children.
Programs of Special Interest:
- Step Program (College Greek Clubs)
- Drill Team Programs
- Re-purposeful Art Program
• All classes must focus on one or more of the core components of the Bridge Academy.
• Classes should provide children with educational and/or artistic value and refrain from promoting a particular business/organization, product or service.
• Each proposed class must complete and submit a weekly plan with the application that includes your plan for a week 10 showcase. The template is available on the application website.
• Each contractor will need to supply three references. References should include places you have volunteered or ran your proposed class.

Multiple applications are accepted.
All submitters will be notified if they have been accepted by September 30, 2013. If this date changes, notifications will be sent to all applicants.
