Healthcare Collaboration brings Career opportunities to Chicago's South and West sides

We're excited to announce that Sinai Chicago has partnered with Advocate Aurora Health and the University of Chicago Medicine to bring healthcare career opportunities to Chicago's South and West sides. The program is part of the three systems Bridge Initiative Chicago and is focused on reaching people who may never have considered healthcare but would like to know more. Healthcare Forward has designed a free, six-hour course (two three-hour sessions, both virtual and in-person) that will “fast track” participants to a potential job in healthcare.
Program Details
Healthcare Forward (www.healthcareforwardchicago.org) is focused on recruiting individuals – particularly those on the West and South Sides of Chicago and they would gain access to:
  • A wide range of non-medical entry-level jobs in healthcare, including positions that don’t require a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A no-cost, six-hour career-readiness course that can be taken online or in-person.
  • Guaranteed interview at one of three participating health systems (Sinai Chicago, Advocate Aurora Health & University of Chicago Medicine) after completing the course.
