Health, Resources & Economics:  The Power of the US Census  in Black Communities

Did you know that in black communities the US Census data impacts funding in many critical areas including schools and education, public transportation and roads, housing assistance, Medicare, preventive health services, programs that back minority-owned businesses as well as job creation? Lawmakers and businesses cannot make responsible decisions without an accurate census, and communities cannot hold them accountable without it.

This Saturday on the Community Health Focus Hour Dr. Doriane Miller and guests will discuss health, economic development, resource allocation, and the power of the US Census in the black community.
