Chicago Cares, in partnership with the Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Corporation, is looking to immediately hire a Coodinator, Community Investment, to manage local on the ground volunteer projects. Quality of Life Plan Celebration of How Your Voice Matters Auburn Gresham!

Auburn Gresham community, come out and celebrate all your hard work contributing to Your Voice Matters Quality of Life Plan planning process. The first celebration of our collective works, will be held October 29, 2016, at the Salaam Restaurant & Bakery, 700 West 79th Street, from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

Mayor Richard M. Daley's 17th Ward Community Celebration

Mayor Richard M. Daley and his wife First Lady Maggie Daley visited the 17th Ward as part of his Neighborhood Appreciation Tour. He joined several community leaders and residents to announce the launch of the Bared Not Broken Football program. He also gave praise to his wife and helped her to celebrate the 20th anniversary of After Schools Matters.
