Auburn Gresham Surpasses a Key BTOP Goal with LATEST 2 Businesses to Earn Free Desktop Computer!

Auburn Gresham has SURPASSED its goal of distributiong computers to 20 local business owners!!!! In October, BJs Market and Bakery and Sure Shine Auto Spa, respectively, became the 20th and 21st businesses in Auburn Gresham to qualify for and receive a brand new desktop computer for participating in the Smart Communities Broadband Technology Oportunities Program (BTOP) which provides classes, consulting, and other needed resources to business owners interested in learning ways to use digital technology to improve their businesses.

What a FANTASTIC accomplishment as BTOP gets closer and closer to its December 31, 2012 program end date. This means that the Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation (GADC) met one of its toughest goals for the program. It could not have happened without the trust, participation, and excitement of the business community who embraced the program.

PLEASE congratulate:

#20 - BJs Market and Bakery
#21 - Sure Shine Auto Spa

Help us thank all the businesses that participated in this exciting pilot program over the last two years and helped us bridge the digital gap for them and, hopefully, sparked a level of awareness, engagement, and adoption that will meet their needs now and in the years to come.

BTOP is part of the Economic Stimulus under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and is helping to revitalize communities all across America.
