TABLET WARS! iPad vs Surface RT

There has always been a tough question of which tablet out there is the best whether  for school, work, or free time. The big problem is choosing which tablet to buy. Below we tell you the difference between Apple's iPad 4 and Microsoft's Surface RT tablets.

The chart below shows both differences and similarities.

This is just a simple way to explain it.

APPLE'S iPAD 4

Pros - Deemed highest in sales productions, the iPad 4 is reliable, fast, and efficient. With many apps and devices, you may never get bored with it. The batter lasts up to 10 hours and has a convenient lock screen battery saver so you don't have to charge it as often. Its Retina Display is a hit with HD lovers and it provides hours of crystal clear, vibrant image quality for your pictures, programs, and games.

Cons - The iPad 4 is data heavy, but if you want to transfer additional data you need CloudSync. You can't use a microSD card, USB, or external hard drive to share information. You can't even watch flash video (goodbye You Tube). If you want to connect your iPad wirelessly to your TV you can't just plug in your HDMI cable, you actually need Apple TV. And that will cost you an additional $100. The iPad 4 has poor sound quality compared to its sister, the iPod Touch, which costs less and has better sound.

Microsoft's Surface RT

Pros - Microsoft launches its newest invention with a bang! With up to 64GB of memory it seems to have a lot of space. Microsoft even included all of its necessities - Microsoft Office suite, multiple window functionality, USB drive input so you can share data, and a micro USB input.

Cons - The Microsoft Surface may have multi window technology, but large files can create lag issues. Low RAM makes it a challenge to manage all those open windows, programs, and files. The keyboard is sometimes hard to manipulate and the buttons skip when not clicked hard enough. Surfing the tablet is difficult without going through the home menu. And the built-in, rear mounted camera streams 720p just like the front camera does.

Pricing varies depending on amount of data you received. These are the prices for the Surface and the extras.

Reviews from REAL people!

David (owns iPad 4 and previous Apple technology products)

"Well, I've had my iPad 4 for half a year so far. I think its great! But their could be more improvements toward its technology frame. They keyboard is a bit huge, and could be a bit more sensitive when I touch the keypad. And more applications could be put into it, because their are some places I shop for, but the app is only available on Google Play, which the Apple Store fails to have."

Gloria (owns Android technology and Microsoft Surface RT)

"I recently bought  my tablet 2 weeks ago. I've gotta say, it works pretty fine. The applications open up pretty fast, and all of my updates, and news stories are located on the home screen, so I never have to '"dig". Even though this is so far the best I've had, I wish the screen wasn't so sensitive. When I scroll to another side of the page, it accidentally opens an application when I touch it. And Android's "Ice Cream Sandwich" USB insert could be a little more firm, because even the smallest tug, and it falls right out."

So, based on this article - who wins the tablet war - Apple? Or Microsoft?
