Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation is looking for an open-minded, motivated individual to join our team! This person will be hired for one year of service through United Way of Metro Chicago’s AmeriCorps program.
This is the perfect program for recent graduates, retirees, career changers and anyone who desires to serve as a catalyst for change.
The person will serve in Auburn Gresham, working with our team to improve outcomes for our neighbors. AmeriCorps members act as an additional resource to help our organization reach the community at a larger scale, which is known as “capacity building.”
AmeriCorps members commit to one year of service and will learn professional development skills to build their careers. Additionally, they’ll receive a living stipend to cover essentials, health insurance, childcare for children 12 years old and under, and an education award upon completion of their service.
