The focus of the Chicago Safe Start program at Family Focus Englewood is helping families heal from the negative impact that violence has on young children. We help parents and caregivers support and protect their children and strengthen family relationships.
Family Focus CSS services include:
- Educational Workshops
- Individual, Family, and Group Counseling
- Children’s Exposure to Violence (CEV) Trainings for Community Workers & Leaders
- Developmental Assessments
- Special Outreach services
- Linkages to other Family Focus programs providing a range of support services to families with young children
