Little City Foster Care and Adoption Program

Little City’s Center for Family & Community-Based Services provides services to children in foster care who have been identified by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (IDCFS) as having been abused or neglected. As part of our mission, Little City is committed to recruiting and supporting foster/adoptive families to provide loving homes for children with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We are searching for welcoming homes and loving parents regardless of age, race, creed, gender, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender-identification, income or education level.

Why should I foster or adopt?

  • To provide hope for a child with special needs
  • To become a parent or expand your family
  • To enhance a child’s well-being in a safe, stable, family environment
  • To make a contribution to your community
