"CREATING FERTILE GROUNDS FOR HEALING" Dance Performance in the Park

We invite you to join us for Creating Fertile Grounds for Healing, a free community event in collaboration with @ChicagoParks and @UrbanGrowersCollective!

Creating Fertile Grounds for Healing are intergenerational and communal movement-based events. Audiences are led through a transformative 90-minute experience filled with song, music, dance, planting/harvesting tours, concluding with a community meal and meditation/rest.

Join us JUNE 11th in Auburn Gresham, at Mahalia Jackson Park and the new Green Era Campus.

These are outdoor events and subject to weather conditions. We encourage everyone to bring their own lawn chairs/blankets as provided seating is very limited.

This project is hosted by Green Era and Urban Growers Collective and partially supported by a CityArts Grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events.

This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency through federal funds provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.
