Chicago Mayor Drops Plan to Sell Mural Worth Millions

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel has dropped plans to sell a city-owned mural that could have raised millions of dollars for a major makeover at a library.

Registration for Winter Break Activities Open Now

WHAT: Mayor Emanuel’s Winter Adventure Passport and “Destination: Chicago,” a festival of doing and making for all ages

WHEN:  Activities— December 21- January 3

Destination: Chicago—Saturday, January 18, 1:00-4:00 p.m.

WHERE: Activities held at libraries, community organizations, park district centers and museums across the city;

Destination: Chicago to be held at DePaul University Downtown Campus, 1 E Jackson St., Lower Concourse
