CHICAGO – Chicagoans who want a quality, affordable education to prepare for further college or career can register now for the Summer and Fall 2015 semesters at City Colleges of Chicago, the largest community college system in Illinois. City Colleges offers a variety of educational options from certificate and associate degree programs to English as a Second Language and GED high school equivalency instruction.

City Colleges prepares students for the more than 500,000 jobs coming to the Chicago region in fast-growing fields through its College to Careers programs in healthcare, business and professional services, advanced manufacturing, information technology, culinary and hospitality, construction, education, human and natural sciences, and transportation, distribution and logistics.

City Colleges of Chicago offers programs to meet the needs of all students, including:

  • Associate of arts (A.A.) and associate of science (A.S.) degrees that transfer to four-year colleges and universities.
  • Associate of applied science degrees (A.A.S.) and certificates that prepare students to immediately enter the workforce in high-demand careers.
