Put Your Summer to Work!

This summer, you could watch TV until you're bored to tears; you could spend quality time with your electronics until your thumbs are sore -- or you could make this your summer of a lifetime.  Invest in yourself.  Learn a skilled trade.  Challenge your brain.  Get working in a satisfying career with decent wages!

 It's all possible, and maybe even free to you, in Greater West Town's Wood Products Manufacturing Program.  By the end of summer you can start a challenging and rewarding job in a new career with no debt. Training is at no cost to eligible low-income applicants.  Classes are weekdays 8:00 -- 2:30 and start in late June.  Graduates are working as skilled cabinetmaker apprentices, bench carpenters, machine operators, CNC operators, assemblers, solid surface counter fabricators.  The average wage for the last class is $12.50/hour.  REAL JOBS with decent wages.
