Summer Workshops with YOUmedia

It may be hot outside, but it is super cool inside the doors of YOUmedia, which is located at 7506 S. Racine Ave. at the Thurgood Marshall Library. All summer long we be offering a healthy, fun alternative for your middle school child. YOUmedia offers progamming focused on interest-driven digital media work in a collaborative setting. Our doors are open to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, who are ready to learn, share, and grow together. Let your middle schooler explore things like gaming, radio and podcasting, graphic design, animation, and music making!
Along with our regular programming, we have a few special summer activities that will help students explore: yoga and meditation, healthy eating, using music as medicine, and dancing in their very own music videos! Like I said, COOL STUFF!
Our summer hours are as follows:
Monday: Noon-7pm
Tuesday: 2pm-6pm
Wednesday: 2pm-7pm
Thursday: 2pm-6pm
Friday: Closed
Saturday: Noon-4pm
