New Pisgah hosts a Successful 2020 Fall Festival for their children and families!

Hello Chicago Early Learning Partners,

This week's recognition goes to New Pisgah!

New Pisgah serves children and families on Chicago's south side.

Every year, New Pisgah hosts a Fall Festival for their children and families. Due to this pandemic and social distancing restrictions, New Pisgah managed to move forward with the annual Fall Festival conducting it outdoor while following social distancing restrictions.

The fall festival included a petting zoo, arts and crafts, and a pumpkin farm for children to select their own pumpkins. Aside from the fun activities, New Pisgah provided lunch for each child and also gifted Trick or Treat bags with goodies!

As a surprise, each student received a monogrammed uniform polo shirt and a customized mask with New Pisgah's logo.  New Pisgah made sure parents and children also had the opportunity to get screened for COVID-19 onsite as well as providing each student with a storybook explaining what COVID-19 means. Let's continue providing positive support and activities for children and families to be involved in during this crazy pandemic.

Keep up the good the work, New Pisgah!
