Community Health Workers See How You Can Work as Research Advocates!

The UIC Center for Clinical and Translational Science is seeking Community Health Workers to participate in a training on research evaluation.

You may be eligible to participate if you:
? Are a community health worker or health promoter
? Are 18+ years old,
? Are Hispanic/Latino or African American
? Speak English
? Have not received training in research or research methods
? Can commit to both, the training and evaluation activities

Attendees will be asked to participate in a day (8-hr) of training, an in-person evaluation session with mock interviews one week later (2 hours), and two online short surveys (15 min) 3 and 6 months later.

You will be compensated for your participation. (Please see attached flyer)
