The News Literacy Project is proud to announce an exciting event this fall. On the evening of November 1st, we will be hosting a panel discussion about religion reporting exploring the relationship between fact, faith, and journalistic standards. The event will be held in the Northside College Preparatory High School auditorium from 7 to 8:30pm, and will feature panelists Manya Brachear (religion reporter for the Chicago Tribune), Kevin Eckstrom (editor-in-chief of the Religion News Service, via Skype), and Odette Yousef (Northside reporter for WBEZ), and will be moderated by Art Norman of NBC5 News.
Admission is free, and the event is open to the public. Please join us, and feel free to pass along the attached (and embedded below) flyer to anyone you know who might be interested.
