Planning for the 2011 79th Street Renaissance Festival is already underway. Planning meetings take place every two months at Soul Food Unlimited located at 1421 West 79th Street from 9:00a to 11:00a. This is a community event and we need your participation to make this a successful event every year. If you LIVE, WORK, or PLAY in this community - you're invited to participate in these community meetings. Complimentary breakfast will be served. Please contact us today if you are interested in helping is plan the biggest annual celebration in the community! Residents, Teachers, Students, Bankers, Business Owners, Parents, Seniors, Entertainers, Politicians, Church Members, Local Agencies and Not-for-Profits are encouraged to join the committee and be a part of something BIG!!! The 79th Street Renaissance Festival will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 10:00am to 6:00pm on 79th Street (between Racine and Loomis, and in Renaissance Park).
