Learn New Skills While Unemployed @ Greater West Town

Greater West Town can help you get a start in warehousing and logistics or as a cabinetmaker!

All companies in Chicago need forklift drivers, shipping clerks, dock workers, pickers and packers.  In 12 short weeks you can learn the technology, driving, and soft skills that will put you first in line for the job!  That is what happened for our last two classes of graduates – and 100% were placed on full-time jobs in their industries within weeks of graduation.

Woodworking companies in Chicago are clamoring for more skilled workers.  In 15 short weeks at Greater West Town, they will be making multiple offers to you!   Positions included cabinetmakers, museum preparators, machine operators, store fixture fabricators.

No cost for income-eligible applicants to our programs.  Supportive services, including transportation assistance.

Call us today: 312-563-9570 – or register for a Virtual Recruitment Fair to find out how to apply.  At the fair you will join Greater West Town staff on Zoom to hear about opportunities for training and employment at GWTP, chat with instructors about the realities of working in the industry.  Get authentic information about the essential workers in these two industries.

Mondays and Tuesdays at noon   Registration Link
